I’m looking forward to Katrina and Sue’s yoga workshop this weekend. Such a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning.
Having enjoyed a marvelous yoga training workshop with Peter Blackaby at the end of May, I’m now looking forward to the next workshop coming up this weekend. Last session we examined the different theories of movement and how this informed the way yoga practioners teach. We examined which asanas support function…and entered that most hotly debated arena ….”what is a useful yoga practice?”. This next workshop looks at structure and its response to movement and gravity. My yoga students in Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead and Leverstock Green have been reaping the benefit of these yoga training workshops already.
There’s nothing like a workshop with Pete to inspire your teaching.
I so enjoyed the first of Pete Blackaby’s “incidental anatomy” workshops. A day filled with discussion and much food for thought. His humorous statement about “finding the sunny spot” (much like a cat searching for the comfy sunny spot in the house) in our yoga practice stayed with me this week……a source of inspiration and the intermittent smile.
