Gentle Yoga in Hemel Hempstead
A friendly, weekly gentle Hatha Yoga class in central Hemel Hempstead at Carey Baptist Church on Marlowes, opposite the Marlowes Shopping Centre. Thursdays from 2:00pm to 3:15pm, taught by BWY-qualified teacher Penny Cronyn since 2004. £10 per session, booked as a block.
The class
Each session lasts 75 minutes and combines simple breathwork, mindful movement and gentle Hatha Yoga postures, finishing with a guided relaxation. The pace is unhurried and modifications are offered throughout, so the class suits beginners, returners, and people who want a kinder, less strenuous practice. Many regulars have been coming for years; new students are warmly welcomed.
